The President of the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG), James Aboagye has expressed dissatisfaction at the recent claims by Kofi Adjorlolo that movie producers don’t pay actors.
He told GhanaWeb in an interview that Kofi Adjorlolo failed to “use internal structures.”
He also said Kofi’s claim up and coming actors are not paid for roles they play in movies, is false.
“You’ve not reported to Actors Guild nor FIPAG, neither did you mention names… Then at the end of the day, you come out to make unnecessary complaints and say negative things.
“He should have mentioned names to solidify his point. Make your claims concrete, come with evidence so we know how to solve it instead of making wild allegations. Who told you up and coming acts are not paid? Who told you? Have you spoken with any of the artists? It’s in bad taste,” Aboagye said.
He also disclosed that Kofi Adjorlolo has been asked to apologize within 14 days.
According to him, “failure to do so would see the association advice itself on his status and positioning in the film industry.”
