Parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, John Dumelo has fired back at his opponent, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan for calling saying he only exists on social media.
Hon. Lydia Seyram is reported to have said John Dumelo will not be accepted by the people because he is just a social media politician.
“Politics is not about pushing trucks in the community and putting it on social media to get 1m views, most of the people are not even in the constituents some are Afghanistan and Iraq.
Politics is about what you do for the grassroots and youth in the Constituency,” Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan exclusively told Kwaku Dawuro on Anopa Nkomo on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7.
In reaction to this, he took to Twitter to respond to the post he was tagged in by saying Lydia posts everything she donates on social media and that he has a seat to win so he has no time for her.
“Yet she follows me on social media and posts when she even donates safety pins. I have a seat to win….I no get en time. #timenodey #idey4u” he tweeted.
