CEO of Bless His Imperial Majesty (BHIM), Stonebwoy has confirmed rumours that musician OV is no longer working under him.

According to him, his good heart and want to help the up and coming ones is why he took OV in after she tweeted at him some time ago.

Speaking to the press today at Golden Tulip Hotel, he mentioned that OV is not the first and will not be the last to get such help.

When he was asked if OV is still on his team, he said, “… in the best interest, the company actually severed ties with her and released her. So, she’s long been released and is on her own and still gets support from the team and myself anytime, any day just like it was from the beginning.

“So, OV is no more with us, is not with us workwise but she’s okay.”

Although she is no more working with him, their relationship is not affected.

“She’s good She came to my house the last time we had a nice chat. It’s all positive on my end,” he added.

OV won the season seven of MTN Hitmaker in 2018, making her the second female to have won the title.

After her victory, she was believed to have been signed by Stonebwoy unto the BHIM label but was some kind of misunderstanding and rumours that she was rather signed to Blakk Cedi’s Black Army along with Kelvyn Boy.

Touching on the reason why he took the decision of letting OV go, he noted: “but unfortunately I’m not the same one that oversaw things until my attention was properly drawn to and that is the reason why I had have to lay off and restructure ultimately and put things apart”.

This explanation also answers why Kelvyn Boy is no more with him and Cedi’s position was changed from manager to agent.
