The daughter of Dwayne Johnson, Simone Johnson has started training with WWE to continue from where her father left it.
The 18-year-old is joining other aspiring wrestling stars to train at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
This, however, means she will be the first fourth-generation superstar in WWE history- taking after her father, her grandfather and great grandfather.
Announcing her move on Instagram, she posted: “To the little girl who fell in love with wrestling & said “this will be my life one day”, this is for you. I’m humbled, grateful & ready to work. Let’s do this”.
Per BBC News reports, she expressed her feeling saying, “It means the world to me.”
“To know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle but to carry on that legacy.”
“Simone Johnson’s unbridled passion and incredible drive has earned her a coveted spot training with the elite athletes from around the world at the WWE Performance Centre,” said Paul “Triple H” Levesque, executive vice president.
Coming from a family of legendary wrestlers will mean bigger so many expectations to fulfil but her family is throwing their support behind her as well as assuring her it is purely her own path- no pressures.
Her dad, popularly known as The Rock took to Instagram to post: “Dreams ain’t just for dreamers… Carry our family name proudly, but your road will always be yours to create, earn & own. So proud. Live your dream. Let’s work.”
Her mum, Dany Garcia, also in a tweet shared a video of memories and added: “Your future will be uniquely yours to earn.”
