The 2011 Ghana’s Most Beautiful winner, Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah popularly known as Akua GMB has disclosed she almost walked out on her marriage when she was being trolled.

She believes she is a good person who did not deserve that kind of treatment.

Since her marriage, she somehow finds herself on the internet radar every now and then for marrying a millionaire and that she agreed to be a fourth wife because of money.

Recently, she was the topic for discussion on social media again after the husband, Dr Kweku Oteng reportedly married a fifth wife.

Speaking to Stacy on Restoration, she was asked if she married her husband for money and comfort and she replied she did not know who he was at the time he was chasing her.

According to her, even taxi drivers have three to five girlfriends so she sees nothing wrong with her wealthy husband having five wives.

“The trolls got to me. At a point in time, I wanted to get out of my marriage because of that. I felt people were talking about me too much. I’m not a bad person but they see me be an evil person because of the kind of person I’m married to”
“But now, I’ve grown a thick skin for that” she added.

She further said her husband is a good man adding that “I’m glad I married him. I’m happy I married him. Probably, if I had married a younger man, I wouldn’t be where I am now.”
