Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy has referred to himself as the best and that everyone known as the best knows he is the best.
According to the ‘Dangote’ singer who admires and emulates Fela Kuti, he is the next best thing that happened to Nigeria aside Fela Kuti.
He however added that the reason why he did not care about being the best for some time now is because his colleague musician, Timaya told him the world could do without the best.
“FACT! I always knew I was and I am THE BEST. Everyone you think is the best KNOWS I’m BEST since Fela Kuti. But @timayatimaya told me something a long time ago that made me not care about being the best. “The World can do without the Best” the world will still spin regardless” he tweeted.

After the tweet went viral, Nigerians did not agree with him. Some feel there were others before him who paved the way and that he is having it easy now does not make him the best.
In reaction to this, he said he brought the current respect the Nigerian musicians are enjoying now and that he has had to make things happen all by himself.
