If you thought the franchise holder of Miss Ghana beauty pageant is making gains out of the venture, well, she has a word for you!
Inna Patty, who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Exclusive Events Ghana, the organisers of the pageant, says she has never made any profit from the pageant since she took over the organization in 2012.
She told Bola Ray on Starr FM that even though she has not broken even since she took over the pageant, she has also been consistent with organizing the pageant because of the passion she has for it.
“At this point, it’s your passion because it doesn’t pay the bill. From 2012 till date, we’ve never made a profit. We’ve never made a dime. The books are there; you can come and have a look at them.”
She noted that even though there are sponsors for the pageant, the don’t contribute much.
“You’ll be surprised that their names are there but they don’t chip in that much,” she told Bola Ray.
According to her, she has had to invest her money into the project.
The Miss Ghana beauty pageant has suffered allegations of pimping and inhumane treatment from former winners, with some resigning.
