Highlife artiste, Ofori Amponsah says he’s talking to his lawyers on taking on people who alleged that he killed colleague artiste, Kofi B.
Kofi B was reported dead on Sunday, February 2, 2020, after he was rushed to the hospital following his complaints of chest pains and unusual heartbeat.
Per the doctor’s report, he was hypertensive.
The allegation which was sparked by a video which popped up after the death of Kofi B, in which a heated argument ensued between Ofori Amponsah and Kofi B concerning money. In the heat, Ofori Amponsah rained curses on Kofi B and also warned him never to perform any of the songs they recorded together.
In reaction to the allegation, he recounted that he has been friends with the late for close to twenty years and that he stands to gain nothing from killing a friend.
When Kofi of Kofi TV met him at the airport, he said “sometimes people who create such stories should be taken on because it is a very serious allegation. When you don’t have evidence but go-ahead to broadcast such a story… I mean I’m even talking to my lawyers I don’t want to talk for now”.
“…I help people, I don’t kill” he stated.
