Any man who goes on his knees to propose to a girl is a bloody fool - Pete Edochie

Nigerian actor, Pete Edochie has gone viral in a video he made some damning claims.

According to him, it is a bad thing for a man to go on his knees to ask a girl to marry him.

He said such an act is a foreign culture which only means the man is handing over his supremacy to the woman.

“Any young man who gets down on his knees to propose to a girl is not just an idiot, he’s a bloody fool he’s a compound buffoon.”

He went ahead to explain by saying : “We try to copy white people. I believe in the sacrosanctity of our culture. The essence, the core of our culture. The white man kneels down to propose to a girl. You know what it means? The girl takes over the family.”

The act of kneeling to propose which is seen as a romantic act, he described as an act of handing destiny over to the woman.

Using his marriage as an example, to further drive home his point, he said: “I have lived with my wife for 51 years nobody has come to tell me please stop beating this woman, is it hatred that united us?”
The voice behind the recording which was recording him reminded him that it is civilisation and to this, Pete replied: “It’s alright, kneel down before your wife I’ll sympathize with you when she takes over the home.”
