Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter, Yemi Eberechi Alade, popularly known as Yemi Alade has disclosed that there was a time her mother had financial problems.
According to the ‘Johnny’ hitmaker, her mother had to sell her economy flight ticket to pay her fees but times have changed and now they can afford first-class trips.
She added that London holds memories for her family.
The artiste who usually shows off her mother shared a picture of herself and her mom on Instagram captioned it: “London is more than just a City to my family, it marks a time in our lives(20yrs ago) when mum had to sell her Economy class ticket to pay my Primary 6 school fees. Today we Fly first Class #Next Stop #amsterdam🇳🇱”
