Okailey Verse, also known as OV has said Ghanaians are not ready for all she has in stock for them as far as doing music is concerned.
Fans usually complain when their artistes starve them.
In OV’s case, however, she explains fans are only asking for more and that it cannot be qualified as a complaint.
She made the comment in an interview on Pulse Ghana.
When she was asked what projects she is working on currently since releasing two songs in a year.
“A lot of things wey Ghanaians they no make-ready o…You people you no make ready. You people say I sleep.”
“People make albums then things eno fa. Two songs see how far (they’ve gone).
“I don’t think they’re complaining. They want more. I can’t give you all right now. Cool down for me. One at a time,” she noted.
OV released a new song titled ‘Forward’ which she explained was done even before the last song she released in 2019.
“I did this song before ‘Zaddy’ around June last year cos I was going through a lot. I had to go and see people talk to me and all of that”.
“I did this song to explain to people I didn’t just go on a break. People were saying stuff it was hurting me. I am back and I am cleaning up everything. I’m moving forward so it’s just to inspire other people as well that no matter what happens to you you just forget up then move,” she explained.
In the meantime, she explains she will release more singles before an EP- “more singles go come through before an EP. That one I promise you soon but the EP di3 ego come through,” she said.
