Winner of MTN Hitmaker season seven, Ov has added her voice to the growing debate on VGMA’s ban on Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

The two acts were banned and asked to bring back plaques won during last year’s VGMAs when the two had a misunderstanding on stage, causing the show to pause some time and a bad ending of the show.

They publicly settled the outstanding beef in both camps and showed remorse for the unfoldings of that night.

After all that, however, VGMAs has not lifted the ban and some industry persons also believe the ban will serve as a deterrent to others and that lifting it would not send a that strong message.

Speaking to pulse ghana in a recent interview, OV who was once under Burniton Music and worked with Stonebwoy says the two acts should be pardoned.

According to her, the two brands are big ones which should not be put through such treatment.

“People are people, I mean people make mistakes. Things happen but we should put it behind and move on.

“So, I feel this whole banning thing honestly for me personally e no really dey need. Ebe the music at the end of the day. Them be papas for the industry inside. We for no do that to them. We for just pardon them. Shi* happens,” she noted.
