Sister Deborah has explained her ‘Kakalika Love’ is no diss song.
According to her, the song was just to disclose happenings to her fans whom she owed the truth.
She explained that because she had to publicly declare her relationship with Medikal at the time, she thought it wise to tell the public when they broke up hence the song.
In an interview on Zylofon FM, the host, Sammy Flex asked her if the song was done for Medikal and Fella Makafui she replied, “I don’t call it a diss song. So, basically, when I started my last public relationship I was asked on television if I was dating that person (Medikal) and I said yes so I only felt it right as an artiste if ‘I’ve broken up I tell my fans and I told them in the way of my art; music.
“So, I set the story through my music and luckily it became a hit song but I won’t call it a diss song. It’s my way of telling the fans what happened cos obviously they need to know because I told them that I’m in a relationship so now I’m no longer in a relationship and everybody is trying to find out what’s going on cos they’re seeing that person with someone else so that was my way of telling them the story,” she explained.
