Afropop singer, Camidoh has complained about Ghanaian artistes not showing support for his intended ‘Save The Kids With Camidoh’.
The campaign he said is to support mothers who have financial difficulties and as a result, have been detained in the hospital.
“I just thought about where I have gotten to in my musical career and I wanted to use my platform to raise funds to support the less fortunate…you realize that there are some mothers in the hospital that have given birth but are unable to pay their bills and come back home which is not good,” he said.
Speaking in an interview on AmeyawTV, he noted that he intends to raise at least GHC 60,000 to support the cause which is slated for February 29, 2020, at the Moka’s Resto Cafe, 21 Ndabaningi Sithole Rd, Labone-Accra.
According to him, mos artistes have seen the campaign but have shown no interest in helping him make it happen.
“For example, I have the initiative to save babies a lot of artistes have seen this project they can’t tell you they haven’t seen it because they follow you but you are waiting for me to now say come on board but it shouldn’t be like that,” he stated.
