Hollywood star Jamie Foxx says he wants to come to Ghana.
Not only does he want to come, he wants his family to have a feel of the experience as well “but I’m bringing my family too. I want everybody to come.”
He explained he was supposed to be in Ghana for a fashion show he missed but will make it this time.
The American Academy Award-winning star mentioned his interest in visiting Ghana while hanging out with some Ghanaians over the weekend at the just ended 51st NAACP Image awards held in LA, California, the USA.
A video shared to ‘Beyond the Return’ Instagram account shows Jamie having a conversation with UK-based Ghanaian talk show host Dentaa in which he talked about coming to Ghana.
In a different video, Dentaa and another lady were teaching Jamie how to greet and respond to greetings in Twi; one of Ghana’s dialects.
Jamie at NAACP awards held on Saturday won the “Best Supporting Actor” award for his role in Just Mercy and was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award for his portrayal of Walter McMillian.
The movie won four awards including best motion picture, best actor, and best supporting actor.
Michael B. Jordan won the Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture.
