Ghanaian singer, Camidoh has said the new generation of artistes is more confident in themselves as compared to their predecessors.
In a recent interview with AmeyawTV, he said one good thing the industry has at the moment is artistes like himself.
“Another thing that I’ve seen that is helping is that the new acts that are coming up talking about me, Kelvyn, Sefa, Ofei they do good music. I’m not saying our oldgees were not doing good music but I think they were more like trend followers like if this is Azonto then everyone wants to do Azonto but now it’s more like, you know what? this is my style,” he noted.
According to him, the new crop of artistes is fearless to the extent that they do not have to tow lines or follow trends to make a name.
“I think it’s more of self-confidence. This era just came, like this generation kinda like have more confidence and are applying to their music” he said.
