Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney aka DKB has lashed out at events company Charterhouse for plunging Ghanaian comedy in a deplorable state.
According to him, Charterhouse, in the past insulted Ghanaian comedians by flooding in Nigerian comedians onto their shows and telling people Ghanaian comedians were not funny.
He said that affected the growth of the comedy industry; a reason they are struggling to get out of that uncomfortable noose.
He added that most of the comedians in Ghana at the moment are paid paltry sums of money as fees, with little support from those with the wherewithal.
