Actor and politician, John Dumelo has through his foundation paid school fees of fifty tertiary students.
The foundation, ‘John Dumelo Foundation’ which was instituted in 2012 to take up the bills of brilliant but needy students, Dumelo say has been of help to students all over the country.
He noted that the 50 students would have been deferred but for the intervention of his foundation.
After yesterday’s activity, he shared pictures to his twitter handle with caption: “Since 2012, the John Dumelo Foundation has been paying fees for brilliant but needy students in institutions all over the country. Yesterday we successfully paid fees for over 50 Legon students who would have deferred their course due to non-registration.”

John Dumelo is vying for the position of MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency on the ticket of the NDC. He has made visiting students in Legon a usual thing.
On 14th February, he shared chocolate and other items amongst widows and the constituency and visited the campus with boxes of pizza.
