Wendy Shay says musicians use her ride on her name to resurrect their dead career.
She also emphasised that respect is reciprocal and referred a certain somebody in her Instagram post as a jealous old man.
She said this in a caption attached to a picture post on Instagram.
She seems to be peeved at someone whose name she did not mention in the post but it could be linked to a recent interview.
Speaking to Zion Felix in an interview, Ghanaian Highlife musician, Kwaisey Pee has said he would not like to work with Wendy Shay adding that “because I know what I want, I know who to work with because I’m looking for some quality. I want a certain standard and quality. I’m not saying she’s not good. But this is my opinion. Per my standard and my quality and how I want my song to be, it’ll be difficult for me (to work with her)”.
This he said in reaction to Zion’s question about whether he has tried featuring artistes on his songs and their response to him. While he was listing the artistes, Zion suggested Wendy Shay and he giggled and used body language – seeming she is not an artiste he would love to work with.
Zion then categorically asked if he would not like to work with Wendy Shay and he explained.
Wendy who is obviously pained by this comment said: ” If anyone wants to resurrect their dead career they want to use Wendy Shay to trend. If you want the young to respect you respect them too …Respect is reciprocal..Respect yourself jealous Old Man ..”
