Media person, Afia Schwarzenegger has opened up on the leak of her naked video,
The video which was filmed by her ex-husband, Lawrence Abrokwa when he saw her in bed with another man after he was sacked from the house.
While filming her, she was pleading for mercy as he threatened to pour acid on her – he had in his hand a small bottle containing a liquid substance.
The video managed to get onto the internet and trended for days.
Abrokwa admitted recording the video but denied leaking it, noting that he shared the video with Afia Schwarzenegger, her father and the police.
“Yes, I did record my wife but I will never do such a thing, putting my wife on social media. Who can testify that I have ever put my wife on Facebook? I don’t know anything about the leakage. Yes, I took the video, the police has the video, I sent a copy to her father and Afia has a copy of the video” “I have no idea and we still investigating and we will get to the bottom of this situation,” he told Kofi Tv in In September 2017
However, speaking to Joselyn Dumas in a recent interview, Afia mentioned that her late husband blackmailed her.
She also disclosed that aside from the ‘acid’ he threatened her with, Abrokwa also had a knife in his hand which forced her to tear up and plead for mercy.
When Joselyn pointed that she seems unconcerned now but was crying in the video, Afia replied that she did not care, adding that “I was crying in the video because this is the man who’s been hitting me, this is a man who has poured hot water on me, this is a man who has hit my head to a tile.”
And when Joselyn asked why she had to wait to cry when he was filming her, she replied: “To cry because I thought he was holding acid. What everybody didn’t see was my ex-husband was also holding a knife in that video at that point in time. I thought I was going to die and leave my kids behind. I cried because I felt I have failed my children…Did I believe he was holding acid? Yes,” she stated.
According to her, preparing her kids for the impending leak of her nudes was all she thought necessary to do.
“I want them to hear from me before they hear from anyone,” she said adding that her children were not really bothered.
Touching on the blackmail, she said: “He called me in the morning and demanded $10,000 and I dared him. I told him that if he doesn’t release the video, he’s not a man.”
She further said the ex-husband was sleeping with prostitutes who she had to pay to protect her name.
