Ghanaian hip hop and afrobeats artiste, Kofi Mole says he is shocked at the lack of progress the country has made since it won independence from the British 63 years ago.
The “Don’t be late” singer in a tweet posted on 6th March 2020 as the country marked independence lamented that the country is retrogressing.
While it is not clear exactly what may have pushed the afrobeats artiste to sound upset, he tweeted: “Ghana dey grow backwards..”

Kofi Mole, who recently released a single, ‘Yabr3’, which literally translates to ‘we are tired’ in another tweet complained about more hardships.
“My country used to be better than now. The more we grow, the harder life becomes. Who go save Ghana?,” he cried out.

Regardless, it appears his lamentations poured out today probably may have influenced his latest single.
