Ghanaian artiste, Deborah Vanessa has suggested getting Davido’s private jet to help colleague Pappy Kojo return to Ghana.

Pappy Kojo has been in Italy for some weeks now although coronavirus was in so many parts of the world.

He attended the Milan Fashion Week which was held between 18th to 24th February, he shared pictures from the event to his Instagram.

However, the World Health Organization declared the disease a pandemic on 11th March 2020 after the number of affected countries tripled.

As of Wednesday, the number recorded was 118,000 cases in 114 countries, and 4,291 people have lost their lives.

WHO explained it is the first time a coronavirus is causing pandemic but the situation forced necessitated it.

“Pandemic is not a word to use lightly or carelessly. It is a word that, if misused, can cause unreasonable fear, or unjustified acceptance that the fight is over, leading to unnecessary suffering and death.” whointernational.com says

Yesterday, the Director of Public Health at Ghana Health Service, Dr Badu Sarkodie and the minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah declared four new cases of COVID-19 in Ghana, updating the number from the original two recorded on Thursday.

After the announcement yesterday, Sunday, March 15, 2020, the information minister stated that travellers from countries affected by coronavirus with cases exceeding 200 will not be allowed in Ghana adding that airlines have been instructed to not allow persons from such countries into Ghana.

“All travels to Ghana is at this stage strongly discouraged until further notice. Any traveller except for Ghanaian citizens who have been to a country that has recorded at least 200 cases of COVID-19 will not be allowed into the Ghanaian jurisdiction. Airlines are instructed to not allow such persons into the jurisdiction,” he noted.

He, however, added that there will be a 14-day quarantine for people who are allowed into the country.

“There will now be a mandatory 14 days self-quarantine for persons who are otherwise allowed to enter the Ghanaian jurisdiction. Guidelines for the self-quarantine will be available at the various Ghanaian port of entry,” he added.

Pappy Kojo who is in Italy cannot come in because it is one of the flagged countries.

According to Worldometers info.com, Italy has recorded 27,747 cases, 1809 deaths and 2335 recoveries, making it one of the flagged countries.

The ‘Aye late’ singer took to Twitter to bemoan: “So no minister go come get me from ITALY ?”

Fans and followers have been reacting to the tweet since.

One of such people is Deborah Vanessa who suggested she could talk to Davido to get his father’s private jet to his rescue.
“Let me ask @davido for his private jet to pick you or?” she replied Pappy’s tweet
