Ghanaian artiste, Deborah Vanessa is considering doing a song about the coronavirus pandemic.
This came after Ghana recorded its first case involving a Ghanaian and a foreigner both who have been in Ghana for about a week now. Currently, six cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Ghana.
Sister Derby who released her ‘African Mermaid’ EP on Friday said if the EP was not planned for that day she would have included a song or two that educates fans.
“Chalé, me too my EP release is today and all I’m thinking of is coronavirus prevention,” she tweeted in response to Shatta Wale’s tweet that talks about how far the virus has gone.
Upon seeing this, a tweep suggested to sister Derby she could have named the EP as ‘#CVID20’. Deborah then replied she was she will do a song to push the message after the tweep said doing another a song aside from the EP was the option.
“I will since my Dolphin has requested and since coronavirus is a dangerous virus,” she tweeted.
