Ghanian actress, Efia Odo has complained about the power and water issues the country is faced with at the moment in the midst of fighting coronavirus pandemic.
As part of the directives given since Ghana confirmed six cases of the covid-19 in just a space of a week, citizens have been advised to constantly wash hands under running water, self isolate themselves if they feel sick and also eat and live healthily.
However, there have been power outages in some parts of Accra and other parts are hit with water problems.
Efia took to twitter to register her concern asking how one is to adhere by the directives when there is no water flowing through taps and no electricity.
“How can people self-quarantine in this heat? No lights/water? I see why there’s soo much anger in some of us. Living in a country that can’t provide us with basic needs! We aren’t animals we are humans and we should be treated as such. Not everyone can afford tank or a generator!” she said in one of the tweets
