Actor and politician, John Dumelo through the Dumelo Foundation is distributing hand sanitizers to the public.
This comes at the back of the confirmation of four new cases of COVID-19 in Ghana, raising the number to a total of six since the first two cases were confirmed on Thursday 12th March, 2020.
After the announcement, there has been a shortage and hike in prices of products such as hand sanitisers.
However, John Dumelo and his foundation are seeking to ease the problem with the distribution of 3000 bottles of hand sanitizers.
He took to Twitter to share pictures of the sanitizers and captioned it: “I am pleased to announce that the John Dumelo Foundation is distributing free hand sanitizers across the Ayawaso west constituency. We are adding an additional 3000 bottles to be distributed between now and tomorrow. Together lets fight the virus. #withyouwecan.”
