There are videos on social media all misinforming the public on the use of alcohol.
Some say drinking alcohol could prevent the disease while others believe since alcohol-based sanitizers kill germs, drinking it could protect them internally.
To drive home his point, Edem shared a video of himself to his Instagram page in which he advised followers to constantly wash their hands, stay away from public gatherings.
He also corrected the notion that one is to drink alcohol to keep oneself from contracting the disease, explaining that one is supposed to wash the hands with it [constantly rub alcohol-based sanitizer on the hands to kill germs and droplets that may cause the novel coronavirus]
