Ghanaian artiste, Criss Waddle has announced that he is distributing hand sanitizers to people living in and around Tema to help fight the COVID-19.
As Ghana records two more cases raising the number to a total of nine, celebrities have intensified education on what the coronavirus is, symptoms and how to keep oneself safe in this ‘trying’ times.
Some are also sharing hand sanitizers and veronica buckets, especially after the price of hand sanitizers, saw a significant hike right after the first two cases were confirmed on Thursday, 12th March.
Taking to social media to announce his intentions, Criss Waddle tweeted: “Pls if you live around Tema and you don’t have hand sanitizer or can’t afford one, let me know, I’m giving some away for free by delivery to help fight coronavirus #COVID19Ghana”.

Not only is he distributing sanitizers, but he also intends to deliver them himself. He has asked followers who responded to the tweet to add their contact number on which he would reach them when he gets to the given locations. And those he cannot personally deliver, he is sending by courier service.
Fans have been responding and showing appreciation for his generosity.
