Ghanaian actress, Efia Odo has expressed her worry over the state of hospitals in respect to the preparedness for the increasing number of covid-19 cases.
She made a reference to America who recorded 9,464 cases, 155 deaths and 108 recoveries out of the total world cases of 223,065, deaths: 9,149 and recoveries: 85,791.
In Ghana, two more cases were confirmed this morning, raising the number to a total of nine covid-19 imported cases.
According to her, despite America’s advancement in so many fields, they still lack the number of beds to cater for the sick during the pandemic adding that that means Ghana is doomed.
She explains that “We don’t even have enough hospital beds for newborn mothers.”
She, therefore, urged the public to take their health seriously and stay protected as well as protect aged relatives who need so much attention in this period.
“A whole America needs extra hospital beds due to increase of people getting infected by COVID-19, then Ghana dier we’re doomed. We don’t even have enough hospital beds for new born mothers. If you outside stay protected if you’re inside stay protected. Protect your grandparents!” she tweeted
