Actress Lydia Forson has said the medical professionals perform miracles since there is nothing to work with.
Referring to a surgery she had years ago, in a tweet, she said it made her understand the extremely religious in the society who rarely give credit to healthcare practitioners.
According to her, the healthcare is in a state that “ONLY God that can save us”.
To be fair, after my surgery a few years ago I came to understand the Ghanaian religious fanaticism.
If you’ve seen the state of our healthcare you’ll realize that in a lot of cases it’s ONLY God that can save us.
Our medical professionals perform miracles with very little.

Her comment has to do with the coronavirus pandemic that affected so many countries.
Before today, Ghana recorded seven imported cases who are in quarantine and responding to treatment but the information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah in a tweet just confirmed two more cases were registered overnight, raising the number to 9.
