Dancehall act, Shatta Wale has announced he is organizing a concert he dubbed ‘Faith Concert’ which will be streamed online for fans to watch from the comfort of their homes in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

He reminds fans that although the show will be held at his pool with a few people (his band), no fan is allowed into the premises in order to stay safe and healthy.

According to him, this is to “strengthen ourselves in these [sic] serious times” hence will be streamed live on youtube.

He is yet to communicate the date but has shared news of the event to his social media pages.

“A concert to my fans around the globe Live on YOUTUBE to KEEP THE FAITH in these challenging times as humanity is faced with its extinction.

Believing that God will take us through this trying phase and knowing that we all count and can make an effort to stay safe as these daunting hours pass by. “FAITH CONCERT” will be transmitted live through all our social media handles. Dates will be announced soon. KEEP THE FAITH IN GOD ALIVE. Be safe. Love you all.” he shared to Instagram.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s confirmed covid-19 cases have risen to a total of eleven as four cases were confirmed today.

And the public has been advised to adhere to precautionary measures which include washing hands, staying away from crowded areas and living healthy.

The President on Sunday put a ban on public events including services in church and mosque, schools, weddings and funerals.

The permitted number for either a wedding or funeral is 25 people and so many entertainment shows have either been banned or postponed till further notice.

Online shows have been adopted by other stars who have had to cancel their shows due to the pandemic and it seems it is now the trend until some sanity returns to the world.

Pop stars including Coldplay, Yungblud and Christine and The Queens have so far done live-streaming shows on Instagram to entertain fans and help them deal with boredom while staying indoors.
