The Lagos State Government Ministry of Health has asked all who attended the just ended African Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) to self quarantine and observe their health.
This year’s edition which was the seventh , was held in Eko Hotels and Suites Lagos on March 14.
The event saw the attendance of many celebrities including actors, comedians, musicians from Nigeria and it’s neighboring countries.
A tweet from the verified Twitter account of the Lagos State Government Ministry of Health states that all attendees may have come into contact with one people who tested positive for the coronavirus in Lagos.
The attendees are therefore advised to self quarantine for 14 days and call health services in case symptoms manifest.

As of March 24 2020, Nigeria has confirmed 42 cases with one death.
