Actress Efia Odo, suggests that this is the right time for churches and mosques to give back to the community.
According to her , they should resort to donating food items and sanitizers to people in their various communities.
Monday March 23 2020, 137 markets across the capital city were disinfected to prevent the spread of the coronavirus as the numbers continue to increase in Ghana and around the globe.
Efia suggested that since the churches are not in use for service due to the social distancing directive, it could serve as shelter for the homeless as their usual sleeping places were disinfected and will uncomfortable for a sound sleep tonight.
“This would be a great time for the mega churches/mosques to give back to the community. Door to door food and sanitizers supply to the people in their communities/congregation. During this fumigation period, the homeless can stay in the churches and released when it’s done,” she tweeted.
