Ghanaian artiste, Kwaw Kese has complained about the approach Ghana is using in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
Last week, the president invited pastors to the Jubilee house to pray for the country.
On March 21 2020, the president again admonished that as much as the citizens are taking precautionary measures seriously, it was necessary that they call on God.
As a result of that, he pronounced Wednesday, March 25, as a National Day of Fasting and Prayer which most Ghanaians are adhering to.
However, Kwaw Kese believes it is not a step in the right direction.
Likening the country to other parts of the world who have had to and are still dealing with the pandemic, he noted that China did not call on pastors to pray the disease away.
According to him, Ghana failed to use the scientific approach although there are such universities but rather counted on the help of adulterous pastors to pray for the country.
“Ama Ghana is tired and pitiful. When the disease broke out in China, they didn’t call on pastors to pray. They resorted to medicine. And it’s been five days since they recorded a new case,” he said.
“Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, What are we doing with it? There are many herbalists in Ghana but pastors were rather called to pray against the virus. The same pastors who sleep with people’s wives and roam Legon campus in search of female students to sleep with are the ones we called to pray for us,” the ‘Dondo’ artiste added.
“God is even angry with you for not using your brain,” he said in an Instagram video.
