Afro-pop artiste, Kelvyn Boy says this is the time for all artistes in the Ghanaian music industry to come together and support each other while fighting the pandemic.
He said the coronavirus is no respecter of status and that it has kept everyone at home
According to him, this is not the time for competition amongst artistes.
“This is the time we should come together…All the artistes who think are the biggest in Ghana should now prove that they are big. Let’s come together and do things,” he said.
He made mention of Pappy Kojo who has been in Italy for quite sometime now and has been calling the attention of the government to get him back to Ghana but has gotten no positive reply yet.
“Pappy Kojo is in Italy calling for help but nobody is talking about him.”
Touching on cancelled tours and shows, he dared the ‘big artistes’ to disregard the pandemic and travel to play those shows.
“At this point, it’s not about your supremacy. Travel to the show and let’s see. We are all home. That competition has to stop now,” he said.
However, the video which appears to be a jab to got backlashes which made him take down the video from his Instagram page.
