Nigerian singer Davido’s fiancé Chioma has tested positive for coronavirus.
The couple with their son and team traveled recently.
Davido was on tour and had to cancel due to the pandemic.
However on their their return, they decided to take the test despite not showing symptoms of the covid-19.
According to an Instagram post shared on the ‘Risky’ singer’s page, the results of a total of 31 people came in negative but Chioma tested positive.
Their son, Jnr who traveled with his mom , tested negative.
He said even after the results came in, Chioma is yet to show symptoms of any kind but is under quarantine while he is also observing a 14 day self isolation.
He assured fans that “we are however doing perfectly fine”.
He used the opportunity to advise people to stay at home to prevent the spread of the disease.

On September 2 2019, Davido formally asked Chioma’s hand in marriage.
He shared pictures of the event on Instagram with the caption “First of all Introduction” with wedding emojis and champagne.

The ‘Assurance’ singer announced the hashtag for the marriage and date while telling fans to get themselves ready for it.
He also introduced the wedding planner for #chivido2020 who is popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest.
The two welcomed their first son on October 20 2019 which Davido announced on social media with the name of the child.
He named the son , David Adedeji Adeleke Junior.
