Security personnel should take it easy on civilians - Afriyie Wutah

Ghanaian singer, Wutah Afriyie is not happy about the inhumane treatment being meted out to people who have flouted the lockdown rules.

Since the COVID-19 lockdown started yesterday, a lot of videos of people being punished by security personnel for breaking the regulations, have surfaced online.

While some are being flogged, others are made to undergo various forms of punishments by the security personnel.

Reacting to this on his Facebook timeline, Afriye Wutah wrote: “Our security personnel should take it easy on the civilians. Some of the videos I’m seeing are not good at all. You don’t curb indiscipline with violence!”
