Davido says he never had 30 billion, covid-19 blocking his money

Nigerian artiste, Davido says he has no money to do giveaways like other musician colleagues are doing for fans online.

As a way of helping the needy to have food and some essentials while they stay at home to curb the spread of coronavirus, some artistes have been sending monies and airtime to fans and followers on social media.

A tweep suggested to Davido to join the trend and do giveaways as a way of dealing with his boredom and in response, Davido whose tour was cancelled recently as a result of the coronavirus pandemic reminded the fan of the situation at hand.

“No money for now .. no show in sight abeg .. we all Dey here together ,” he tweeted.

However, Davido is one of the artistes known for talking about his riches and possessions in his songs.

According to the lyrics of his song ‘If’, he mentioned “thirty billion for the account” and when he told the fan he has no money, he was reminded of the said money in the account.

To this, he said “Never had it”.
