Efia Odo cautions African leaders not to allow for vaccine tests on their citizens.
She said Africans have allowed themselves to be used for such tests for far too long.
She suggests that countries that have been hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic “Why don’t they test the vaccines on a continent like North America that has over 250,000 cases of COVID19 Or Spain and Italy.”

During a discussion on the French television channel, LCI, about Covid-19 on Wednesday two French doctors suggested that a potential vaccine for coronavirus should first be tested on people in Africa.
Per Aljezeera’s report, the trials is set to be launched in Europe and Australia to see if the BCG tuberculosis vaccine could be used to treat the virus.
The comments by the two doctors have been condemned and called racist comments while some just rule it out saying it’s a conspiracy theory to wipe out Africans.
