Davido suggests coronavirus vaccines should be tested in hard hit countries

Nigerian artiste, Davido has suggested that the said vaccine for coronavirus should be tested in countries who are hard hit my the pandemic.

This comes on the back of suggestions that a possible coronavirus vaccine should be tested first on Africans.

A TV debate held on Wednesday on channel LCI, one of the French doctors suggested trials in Africa to see if a tuberculosis vaccine would be effective against the coronavirus.

According to BBC news, Camille Locht, head of research at the Inserm health research group, was talking about a trial in Europe and Australia.

Jean-Paul Mira, head of intensive care at Cochin hospital in Paris, then says: “If I can be provocative, shouldn’t we be doing this study in Africa, where there are no masks, no treatments, no resuscitation?”

While some African countries have confirmed cases of coronavirus, the hard hit are USA with 300,432 cases, Spain with 124,736 cases, Italy with 124,632 cases, Germany with 92,150 cases, France with 82,165 and China with 81,165 cases.

Taking to Twitter, Davido opined “Make dem go use the vaccine first for where the cases plenty pass.”
