Nigerian actress Funke Akindele Bello, popularly known as Jenifa and her husband Abdul Rasheed Bello have been arrested and fined for hosting a birthday party during the coronavirus lockdown in Nigeria.
Jenifa threw the party for her husband although she has been educating the public on especially on social distancing in order to curb the spread of the disease.
After her husband, JJC skillz shared video from the party to his Instagram page on Saturday, fans reacted since she has been campaigning about ‘stay at home’ and social distancing while the video did not portray any of that.
Jenifa shared a video to her instagram to apologize and explain what really happened.
According to her, the whole team have been working on a new movie project wat before the lockdown order.
She said some of the workers who were already there before the lockdown including Naira Marley all decided to stay back until the lockdown is over and that they have been working in the studio.

The couple were arrested and appeared in court Monday April 6 on charges connected with breaking the Lagos State Infectious Disease 2020 regulation.
Both pleaded guilty, were fined £210, and ordered to do 14 days of community service to educate the public on the dangers of not complying with the government guidelines, BBC reports.
Police said the arrest was made after they saw the video of the birthday party which had a ‘large number’ of people violating the state government’s restriction orders.
It is not clear the exact number of guests at the gathering.
