President of Ghana, Addo Dunkwa Akufo-Addo has sent good will message to Boris Johnson who has been moved to intensive care in the hospital after his coronavirus symptoms worsened.
According to a spokesman the prime minister was moved on the advice of his medical team and is receiving “excellent care”.
Mr Johnson has asked Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab to deputise “where necessary,” the spokesman added.
The prime minister, 55, was admitted to hospital in London with “persistent symptoms” on Sunday evening.
Taking to Twitter, Nana Addo said, “Wishing British Prime Minister, @BorisJohnson, a speedy recovery and God’s blessings. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and the British people at this critical time.”
