Will the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards be held this year?
This has been the question on the lips of many music enthusiasts since the awards was put on hold in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
But the Head of Communications at Charterhouse, Robert Klah, has told Ghana Weekend that they are looking at a number of alternatives to pull the awards off.
He said among the options is a virtual award ceremony which will be held online.
However, he noted the organisers have not settled on that yet because a lot of factors would have to be considered.
He also said that if by September things have returned to normal, the awards will be held.
Robert was also quick to add that holding VGMA this year in whichever way would depend largely on government’s regulations and how consequent issues on coronavirus pandemic pan out.
