Rapper Kwesi Arthur has expressed satisfaction at how the government has handled and continues to handle combat the coronavirus.
According to the rapper, he did not think the government will be swift with rolling out measures as they have done.
“I’m very surprised by how the government has responded to it so far. It’s really impressive. I didn’t think they’ll be able to do this. Giving us free water to use for like 3 more months is just amazing so they really tried,” he told David Mawuli in an Instagram live video.
He, however, believes the government could come to the aid of people who lived on meagre salaries from day to day jobs (hand to mouth jobs).
He believes it is easy for the government to provide for these citizens “if the government can come up with an initiative that can help those people take care of themselves their and family that will make a very big difference.”
“If they can build a cathedral, they can afford to feed the population,” he added.
