Gospel artiste, Empress Gifty through her Empress Foundation has made donations to traders in Zenu market and residents of Kpone Katamanso.
She explained this is the very first donation from her foundation to people as Ghana and the rest of the world deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
The items which include alcohol-based hand sanitizers, drinks, water, cassava and corn dough, bags of rice she said is to “at least give them hope at this crucial season” adding that the experience “was soo emotional, its soo great to give back to the community.”
The donation itself was on April 9 but she just shared the official pictures to her Instagram.

Currently, Ghana’s confirmed cases of Covid-19 has risen to 408, 8 deaths and 3 recoveries.
People have been advised to take precautionary measures seriously and stay at home to prevent the spread of the disease.
