Ayawaso West constituency hopeful, John Dumelo with the help of some constituents are helping residents in the community to get access to good drinking water.
The president in a recent address to the nation announced the government will absorb water bill of citizens from April through to June to ease pressure on people since they are advised to stay at home to prevent curb the spread of the coronavirus.
However, some people who do not have taps still have to pay to get water at home.
Taking to Twitter, John Dumelo shared pictures of himself and a group of men working.
He captioned the pictures saying: “This morning myself and the community guys started constructing water points in the neighborhood for residents( who still buy water) to have access to free water.”
