The Chief Executive Officer of 3Media Networks, organisers of 3Music Awards, Sadiq Abdulai Abu, has dispelled the notion that they copied the virtual concert concept from some artistes.
Since the organisers announced that this year’s awards ceremony will be held online, there have been talks that they took inspiration from online concerts by Shatta Wale.
Before Shatta Wale, there had been a virtual concert by Edem.
However, Sadiq told Ghana Weekend that they that the virtual concert in their plans even before all these artistes came out with their online concerts.
