Sarkodie’s wife, Tracy SarkCess has disclosed that her family was not really in support of her relationship with the rapper.
According to her, “my family didn’t understand why ‘university girl’ like me would date a rapper” adding that “there was the perception that rappers are womanisers” but she had to fight to keep her man.
During a question and answer session on Twitter, a tweep asked her “did you ever face any challenges in your relationship from your family?”
Tracy replied, “Yes paaa! My family didn’t understand why “university girl” like me would date a rapper and there was the perception that rappers are womanisers. But I had to stand my ground. I was the one in the relationship not them so wasn’t going to let them choose 4 me”
