Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has finally explained the inspiration behind the choice of title for his new album, ‘Anloga Junction’.
The title of this new album has been one that got a lot of people wondering right from when he made the name known.
According to him, the album talks about his identity, experiences, and influence he has gained over the years.
Speaking to David of Citi TV on the Breakfast Daily, Stonebwoy noted that it is important to leave a mark which the new album seeks to do.
“It’s deeper than just the name… Anloga junction is two words put together. Anloga itself is a Ghanaian word and therefore an African word and it signifies where I come from,” he said.
“Since it signifies, is an African word as well, it also signifies where I come from as an African and the junction as an English word signifies every other influence and experience that I’ve gained over the period of time from the western world as well and the African part of it to form this album or to create so it’s just the influences and the experiences that I’ve gained from home and abroad, literally Africa and the rest of the world,” he added.
