Musician Sista Afia has debunked claims that her song title, WMT is insulting.
The song sparked talks since the release especially because they claim it is a diss song to either Sister Derby or Wendy Shay.
In an Instagram live video, she corrected the erroneous thought saying it was not a diss song to anyone and that the title of the song was chosen for controversial reasons but it is no insult to anyone.
“The WMT is not Wo Maame Tw* . Yes, I said Wo maame at the end of the music for controversial reasons but the actual thing was Women Must Talk.
“It’s tiring and it’s time we let our voices out. It’s time I speak out” she said.
She further talked about how unfair the industry is treating artistes but added that she is not saying that to deter anyone from doing music.
