Ghanaian music beats producer, GuiltyBeatz has advised that if there is the need to bring back azonto, the should be a change in the sound.
The hashtag #BringBackAzonto has been trending for days after Sarkodie vowed to bring back the sound that was once very popular with special dance moves.
The rapper called out to artistes to jump on his ‘Fahooki Me’ instrumental and drop azonto songs.
Already DJ Breezy dropped an azonto riddim while D Black promised 2 songs.
EL has sent his song to Sarkodie but asked him to hold on until Stonebwoy releases his long awaited album, Anloga Junction.
In a tweet on April 22, Guilty suggested, “I think if we want to bring back azonto, we have to evolve the sound.”
